This two story multi-purpose facility consist of approximately 30,000 sq. ft. floor area housing offices, large meeting rooms and training rooms. The building also includes a two story space with allowance for future 2nd floor addition.Structural system included composite steel beams, steel trusses, tilt-up concrete walls and steel joists. Construction Cost: $7 Million

JAFCO Respite Center and Residences

This one and two story iconic building houses JAFCO's administrative offices, a banquet room and play areas and residential areas for the children cared for by the charitable organization. S & F provided design and inspection services for this project. Construction Cost: $5.5 Million

This one and two story structure with concrete frames, load bearing masonry walls and steel roof framing houses recreation center and meeting rooms. S & F provided construction support services and threshold inspections. Construction Cost: $4 Million

This community center was designed for a future second story addition. S & F chose composite steel joists to meet the project budget and meet the future expansion requirements. Other structural systems included masonry walls, light gage steel trusses and some wood framing.

Construction Cost: $3.8 Million.

The project utilizing BIM includes a fire rescue facility and a separate space for housing the city's building department. Structural system consists of masonry walls, steel joists and pre-fabricated wood trusses. Construction Cost: $2.5 Million.

Fire Station No. 47

Fort Lauderdale, FL


This fire station building for the City of Fort Lauderdale replaced an aging old facility. The structural framing consists of concrete floor slab for the second floor and steel joists at the roof. This facility was one of only two new building that met budget requirements and were built under a voter approved program to upgrade the city's facilities. Construction Cost: $3.8 MILLION
